We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Medirest Family as a Ward Hostess/Host. Become a vital part of our dedicated Patient Dining team, where we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding catering services.
As a Ward Hostess/Host, you will create a warm and welcoming environment for patients. Every day will be unique, and by addressing their nutrition and hydration needs, you will truly make a difference in their experience!

Key Responsibilities
* Provide menus, take orders from patients, and assist with dietary and allergen queries.
* Prepare and deliver refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
* Clear ward areas and wash dishes to ensure the kitchen is ready for the next service.
* Liaise with ward staff to meet patients' needs promptly.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by always prioritizing the patient experience.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal Ward Hostess/Host will:
* Have an awareness of food and hygiene standards.
* Be passionate about patient care, with strong communication skills for interacting with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
* Thrive under pressure, working both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
* Be confident in a hospital environment, understanding that you may encounter patients who are unwell or distressed.
* Bring a willingness to learn and take pride in your work, regardless of previous experience as a Ward Host/Hostess.
* Be prepared for a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs covered by the employer.
