We are looking for an experienced nurse to join our team as a Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist/Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Coordinator.
You will join our Clinical Nurse Specialist team, co‑ordinating the care of patients throughout their whole life as well as supporting the clinical and research activities of the team. The post‑holder will play an active part in developing the service, supporting and preparing for Peer Review, and ensuring that it is patient‑centred, safe, efficient.
As post holder you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in all aspects of haematological nursing, with emphasis on all aspects of the Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) service. You will provide information, support, advice and specialist knowledge to patients, their families and carers. You will act as a resource to the multi‑professional team. You will participate in the co‑ordination of patient care to ensure continuity throughout the patient’s care pathway. You will also act as main point of contact/liaison with external providers involved in the BMT process and follow up.
