Orion are working with hugely successful nation Construction & Infrastructure client, to source a Project Planner to contribute to one of the UKs landmark energy projects, reporting directly into the Planning Manager and working alongside some of the industrys leading professionals.
This is a unique vacancy in that it requires applicants to have on site experiencesuch as a Siteengineer or Site agent andseeking to transition intoan office based career in Project Planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing, managing, and maintaining detailed construction programmes from tender through to completion.
* Ensuring programme content complies with planning procedures and guidance.
* Analysing and reporting on the critical path, risks, and opportunities.
* Supporting project delivery teams with sequencing, resource planning, and performance tracking.
* Producing clear planning deliverables including schedules, reports, planning philosophy, and KPIs to support successful delivery.
* Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to keep this ambitious project on track.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Planner with construction experience or hands on site experience as a Site Engineer or Site Agent.
* Preferable site to planning experience.
* Knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta, or MS Project; training will be provided.
* Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and resource management.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
