We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our team. You will work split shifts, preparing and cooking meals for both lunch and dinner services. This is a hands-on role that requires efficiency, creativity, and a passion for delivering delicious food.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard during lunch and dinner services.
2. Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all menu items.
3. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
4. Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and kitchen inventory.
5. Follow all health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
6. Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience as a chef in a busy pub or restaurant environment.
8. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in split shift patterns.
9. Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
10. Creativity and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
11. Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
