A well-established and highly respected accountancy firm based in Filey is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team on a permanent basis. As an Accounts Senior, you will be:
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and management accounts for a varied client portfolio
* Producing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping as needed
* Acting as a main point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and resolving queries
* Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development
* Collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional client service
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
To be successful in this Accounts Senior role, you will ideally have/be:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience within a practice environment
* Confident managing a diverse portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Experienced with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
* A strong communicator with excellent organisational and time management skills
* Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively
This role is easily commutable from Bridlington, Scarborough, Hunmanby, and surrounding areas, with on-site parking available and good access to public transport.
