Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in the home care settings. Duties
* Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
* Supporting individuals with their daily activities in accordance with personalised care plans
* Monitoring clients' health and reporting any concerns to senior staff
* Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
* Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
* Driving clients safely to appointments or outings as required (driving licence essential)
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
Skills
* Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
* Good IT literacy for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
* Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for others
* Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to individual needs
* Reliable driving skills for transporting clients safely
* Previous experience working within a care setting is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided
