Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager at Transcend Information, Inc. The role is primarily located in Hemel Hempstead with an expectation of being in the office at least 3-4 days per week so a commutable distance to Hemel Hempstead is essential.
The Business Development Manager role will be split 50/50 between developing new business opportunities within the OEM and manufacturer space in the UK + IE region and as an Account Manager responsible for pre-existing customers and distributors.
Our embedded product's are used in applications across all industries ranging from: Aerospace, Agriculture, Military, IOT, AI, Automotive, Robotics, Security, Data center and many more. Understanding our products, customers and their needs, expectations and project requirements are essential in order to spec-in and produce the correct product for them and provide detailed project management.
Qualifications
* Sales, Business Development, and Client Relationship management skills
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Experience in market research and analysis
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Familiarity with storage, multimedia, or technology products is a plus but not essential
* An understanding of PC / Motherboard / Computer Hardware / IT is a plus but not essential
* Minimum of 2+ years of business development or account management, project management experience
* Ability to manage multiple projects and update project information frequently
* Confident public speaker with presentation experience
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
* Able to communicate complex information simply and precisely
* Managing key stakeholder relationships
