About the Job
As an Operations Manager (211 Delivery), you will be responsible for overseeing the entire 211 delivery operations, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics for normal parcels, bulky items, and fresh & frozen goods. This role involves managing in-house drivers, optimizing delivery routes, ensuring high-performance standards and making sure that all delivery of the parcels are dealt correctly. The Operations Manager ensures that all processes are aligned and executed effectively.
Your Responsibilities
* Fully oversee and manage the entire 211 delivery operations.
* Ensure smooth handling and execution of normal parcel, bulky item, and fresh & frozen deliveries.
* Coordinate in-house drivers, ensuring they meet delivery standards.
* Ensure that all delivery routes are correct and, if necessary, communicate with the Route Planner to make adjustments.
* Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency.
* Monitor delivery performance and optimize logistics processes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to enhance overall delivery operations.
* Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience in logistics operations or last-mile delivery management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Leadership skills with experience in managing logistics teams.
