Overview: With manufacturing facilities located across the UK you will be working in a clean, modern manufacturing environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance. Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role: To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time. Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time served apprenticeship Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc. Previous experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment - both mechanical and/or electrical skills are considered.Commutable from: Consett, Stanley, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Durham and surrounding areas.
