Public Sector - Supplier Relationship Manager
Salary: £50-60,000 + package
Location: Buckinghamshire (1-2 times per week with the rest being home based)
We are currently partnered with a Public Sector Giant boasting a robust £Multi-Billion revenue stream, who have been pivotal in the nation's growth across transport, engineering & civils for over two decades. The Role:
As a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will Manage multi-million-pound supplier contracts across multiple spend categories, and work collaboratively with relevant customers and stakeholders to create and deliver significant supplier relationship value.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key suppliers to drive mutual value and long-term success
2. Develop and implement innovative supplier relationship strategies to optimize performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align supplier relationships with organizational goals and objectives
4. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks through effective supplier management practices
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier network to enhance operational efficiency and innovation
6. Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to anticipate changes and opportunities within the supplier landscape
7. Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing practices in alignment with corporate values and standards.
