ROLE SUMMARY The International Medical Channel Content (MCC) team is part of the Medical Enablement and Quality (MEQ) platform within the Chief Medical Affairs (CMO) Office. The International MCC team drives local medical channel content strategy across the Oncology, Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Vaccines portfolio across our International Division. The team aligns closely with the Global & US Medical Channel Content Teams and other key cross-functional partners to conceptualise, adapt/develop, and disseminate all ex-US medical content through publications, congresses, medical-to-medical interactions, digital channels, and other newly prioritised internal and external ex-US specific medical channels. The Medical Channel Content Manager will: Support the IMCC Country Lead and the IMCC Senior Manager to deliver high quality, timely and efficient medical channel content projects across Pfizer medicines and therapeutic areas within ex-US countries/regions, to optimise the engagement and reach of emerging scientific information with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Support the implementation of local medical channel content strategies for assigned medicine(s)/therapeutic area(s) within specific regions (e.g., EU, LATAM, AFME, APAC) to enhance the dissemination of Pfizer scientific data. Assist in adapting global medical content and developing limited new local content in accordance with therapeutic area strategies, country regulations, and enterprise standards. Promote content re-use and ensure that content creation is limited to locally prioritised assets when global content is unavailable. Coordinate with commercial channel strategy teams to support in the execution of medical to medical channel strategies in market. Utilise customer and market insights to understand the customer journey and input into decisions about the optimal format and channel strategy for medical content. Customise global/US content for local markets, including translation and compliance with local regulations. Support further adaption of content during country medical reviews to facilitate timely approval and posting of content on relevant channels. Generate analytics reports and project scorecards aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs). Stay updated on country regulations and guidance related to digital delivery of scientific information to external healthcare professionals (HCPs). Stay informed about relevant Pfizer SOPs and guidance documents. Stay current on literature, emerging science, medical trends, and technological developments to enhance content review and development processes. Basic Qualifications Advanced scientific/healthcare degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MS, etc.) BA/BS with significant experience or MBA/MS with proven experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector or relevant experience in Medical Affairs/Scientific Publications/Medical Communications Skills & capabilities Experience with scientific peer-reviewed publications, global medical communications, and industry publication best practices Represent a function within a matrix organisation through a strong track record of excellent presentation, customer facing, and interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills to develop and present scientific information to varied audiences and articulate messages succinctly Understand detailed technical information and convey complex ideas to a variety of audience types and cultures Quickly build rapport and credibility with key internal and key external stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills Fully conversant with relevant regulations and Pfizer policies and procedures acquired through training Must be decisive, exercise good judgment in decisions, organised and with the ability to prioritise a large workload Strong organisational skills to track numerous tasks for multiple simultaneous projects in a deadline-oriented environment Ability to work independently in a matrix environment with shown flexibility and organizational awareness Solution focused with a flexible and pragmatic approach Direct external vendors and manage budgets, timelines, and quality of deliverables Upholds values and drives high standards Strong drive to learn and positive attitude to different ways of working Digital capabilities Advanced capability to use digital technology provided by the organisation Highly confident and competent with digital compliance requirements Experience in using a range of digital platforms Strong understanding of core digital metrics used by the organisation Strong awareness and integration of digital channels to meet customer needs Language requirements Strong written and oral skills in English Fluent written and oral skills in local language of designated country/ies Preferred Qualifications Experience in assigned therapeutic area.
