PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this role, you must be committed to move to Somerset Location: Somerset (Please apply if you are local or willing to relocate) Salary: £28,000 per annum About the Role: As a Sewing Machinist, you’ll join a team of over 60 dedicated professionals crafting high-quality products for the Furniture and Textiles sector. Working on an industrial flatbed machine and occasionally using overlock machines, you will ensure the production various products meet client's standards. Measure and prepare materials according to job specifications, ensuring the correct quantities and layouts are used during production. Inspect completed items to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company quality expectations. Carry out basic upkeep, cleaning, and daily checks on machinery to maintain safe and efficient operation. Follow production drawings and work instructions, adjusting machine settings where required to suit different tasks. Maintain workplace standards by following company procedures, health & safety guidelines, and accurately completing required documentation.
