The Opportunity
Are you detail-driven, organised, and passionate about food labelling and product data? We’re looking for a Specification & Artwork Technologist to join our Technical Services team and play a key role in launching high-quality, compliant food products.
Key Responsibilities
* Creating and maintaining accurate customer specifications
* Coordinating and checking artwork for product launches
* Collaborating with NPD, Process Development, Commercial, and Procurement teams
* Ensuring audit readiness and compliance with customer codes of practice
* Supporting site audits and internal document preparation
* Managing data for raw materials, packaging, and nutritional information
The Ideal Candidate

* Food related degree
* Previous experience writing technical food specifications
* Familiarity with retailer labelling rules and artwork portals (e.g., WAVE, Proofscope)
* Experience in the food industry and understanding of food labelling regulations
* Confidence using Excel and specification platforms (e.g., Foods Connected, Tesco, M&S systems)
