Our Special Needs Teaching Assistants duties can include: Working with small groups of pupils Working on a one-to-one basis with children with additional needs Providing personal and emotional care for pupils when needed Managing classroom behaviour Providing intervention/SATS support for students The ideal applicant will have: Some experience working with young children or in a UK school setting within the last 2 years A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils Level 3 support staff qualification is desired but is not essential providing you have professional Special Needs experience The school you will be working in: A school with a Good OFSTED rating Supportive leadership and a low student-to-teacher ratio.
