An intermediate level Architectural Technologist / Technician is required to join a national multidisciplinary architectural practice at their Edinburgh studio.

The Role – Intermediate Architectural Technologist / Technician
This opportunity is ideal for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist with 3–5 years’ industry experience who is looking to further develop their technical expertise within a highly respected architectural practice.
You will play an important role in supporting the technical design and delivery of commercial projects, working closely with senior technologists, architects, and wider project teams. The role will allow you to build on your Revit/BIM capability, gain further project exposure, and contribute to the successful delivery of a wide range of developments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the production of technical drawings and detailed construction packages
Support project teams in the delivery of projects through technical design and construction stages
Work collaboratively with architects, technologists, consultants and contractors
Develop and coordinate Revit/BIM models and technical documentation
Attend project meetings and contribute to design coordination
Assist with site visits and technical queries during project delivery
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
3–5 years’ experience working within an architectural practice
Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
Strong working knowledge of Revit/BIM
Experience using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (desirable)
Exposure to working on commercial sector projects would be advantageous
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Salary & Benefits
