PLATER / WELDER - Temp 1 Month
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- This is a temp role for one month - may be extended.
- Mark out, cut, and prepare heavy steel plate for fabrication using tools such as plasma cutters and grinders.
- Inspect and check completed work to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with welders, machinists, and other workshop personnel to meet production deadlines.
Essential experiences & skills
- Minimum 4 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills
Hours
Standard working hours: 40 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm Can be flexible if needed.
Pay
You will earn an hourly rate between £14 - £18 an hour depending on experience.
