Role: Administrative Officer
Salary: £24,500
Location: Wallingford
Hours: Standard Office Hours
Key Responsibilities of the Administrative Officer:
1. Process and manage employee payroll accurately and in line with internal deadlines.
2. Maintain and update employee records, documentation, and databases.
3. Support daily administrative activities including filing, correspondence, scheduling, and data entry.
4. Assist with HR-related tasks such as on boarding documentation and absence tracking.
5. Generate reports, prepare documentation, and support the management team as required.
6. Handle incoming calls, emails, and general office enquiries.
7. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and manage office supplies.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.
About you:
9. Proven experience in administration roles.
10. Demonstrable experience of processing payroll.
11. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and payroll software.
12. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
13. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
14. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
15. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
