The Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Crane Service Technician for a permanent position, based at various sites across England. You will ensure crane integrity, operate in compliance with legislative, corporate, and manufacturer standards, and perform fault-finding and breakdown maintenance. Your duties include liaising with site teams, contractors, and sub-contractors, conducting investigations, recommending improvements, and updating maintenance records electronically.
A company vehicle will be provided, along with accommodation for non-commutable nights. Overtime and travel will be compensated accordingly. The role offers a salary, overtime pay, and a per diem allowance.
The Requirements
Applicants must hold an electrical qualification such as the 18th edition, understand LOLER Regulations and LEEA Guidelines, and have proven experience working with gantry cranes and crane maintenance. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with site personnel. A UK driving license is required.
