Your new role: Design Managers are key to driving quality, enhancing buildability, and fostering innovation. They work collaboratively with clients and industry specialists to develop designs that add value, are compliant, and meet best practices. Responsibilities include managing design programs, coordinating with technical teams, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring safety and buildability before construction. They also work with stakeholders to ensure quality and innovative solutions throughout the project stages.
What you'll need to succeed: The role is based in the Southern region, supporting the Wokingham site, delivering affordable homes. Candidates should have UK experience as a Design or Technical Manager, managing residential developments on brownfield or greenfield sites. A relevant construction or engineering qualification, right to work in the UK, a full driving license, and strong communication, numeracy, IT skills are required. The role is on-site, working in an integrated site office on a medium-rise development in Wokingham.
