Job Title: Network Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Tamworth
We’re looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology‑driven business and play a key role in managing and improving their IT infrastructure. This is a hands‑on role covering Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Hyper‑V, with responsibility for both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term projects.
Role
* Administer and support Windows Server, AD, Hyper‑V, and Azure environments
* Monitor and optimise network/server performance, security, and backups
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Microsoft and Linux systems
* Provide 3rd line support and guidance to the wider IT team
* Liaise with vendors and implement system upgrades and improvements
About You
* Strong experience with Microsoft and virtualisation technologies
* Knowledge of SANs, networking, and Office 365
* Experience with Sonicwall & Intune
* Good understanding of IT security protocols and compliance
* Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell desirable)
* CCNA Certification (MCSE advantageous)
