Reception Supervisor– onefiftyfenchurch, Fenchurch Street, London

YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:

* Ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services.
* Manage, motivate, and support front-line staff, ensuring team members adhere to company policies and provide excellent service.
* Address guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure efficient communication and guest readiness.
* Supervise the check-in/check-out process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to procedures.
* Review and prepare shift reports, logs, and handovers for accurate record-keeping and shift continuity.
* Maintain a secure environment for guests and staff by monitoring hotel security protocols and addressing safety concerns.
* Support training and onboarding of new employees, and provide ongoing coaching to improve team performance.
* Inspect public areas and rooms periodically to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are met.
* Assist hotel management with administrative tasks, performance reviews, and operational improvement initiatives.
* Being able to work in a pantry serving healthy drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

* Minimum 1-2 year's previous experience of a management role, from an Internationally recognised branded hotel
* Working hours - This role is based on five shifts per week, including weekends, and is subject to business operational needs.
* Ability to analyse performance metrics
* Know how to set and manage a budget to achieve optimal returns
* Candidates with a strong Front Office background are preferred
* A good working knowledge of Opera PMS,is desired
