Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders and teams to provide an outstanding technical and work environment for all employees. The team undertakes a variety of jobs across desktop, AV, and facilities support.
Responsibilities:
1. Play a lead role in projects focused on enhancing Liberty IT's office environments, desktop and device hardware and software, and digital communications and connectivity for different meeting experiences (in-person, hybrid, virtual).
2. Facilitate project delivery, ensuring all team members own, score, and deliver well-defined tasks or stories.
3. Facilitate stand-ups or similar agile ceremonies, and communicate and update your progress regularly.
4. Contribute to Liberty IT's energy efficiency targets through identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
5. Mentor and guide junior team members to deliver well-defined features, functions, or components.
6. Partner with Liberty IT employees and lead team members to work towards optimal solutions that maximize business value.
7. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, applying best practices to optimize employee experience, safety, and security.
8. Review and contribute to engineering and operations standards, and participate actively in team solutions.
9. Expand knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware, and software.
10. Assess new solutions using a data-driven approach and lead their adoption.
11. Share learnings through internal tech talks, blogging, and external events.
Technology Support Responsibilities:
1. Provide ongoing maintenance and optimization of software and hardware support during office hours.
2. Manage the full new hire process setup, including device and desk setup.
3. Respond to and resolve requests and tickets, proactively developing solutions for recurring issues.
4. Manage on-site, hybrid, and remote AV and digital communication tools, supporting events and troubleshooting issues.
5. Maintain office environment, including space management, intra-office moves, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of five years' experience supporting large-scale office environments with hardware, software, and AV technologies.
* Experience delivering software, hardware, and office environment projects.
* Knowledge of agile delivery practices.
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and user-centered solutions.
* Current and valid industry certifications.
