Were recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor Retrofit & Decarbonisation to manage the financial and commercial performance of retrofit and energy efficiency projects across the region. Youll help deliver large-scale programmes that improve housing sustainability and reduce carbon emissions while being part of a growing, people-first business. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, youll take full ownership of project cost planning, procurement, and reporting, ensuring value, compliance, and efficiency. Youll collaborate with local authorities, housing providers, and contractors to deliver industry-leading retrofit solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage cost control, valuations, and final accounts for retrofit and decarbonisation schemes Ensure compliance with PAS 2035, ECO4, SHDF, and related funding frameworks Oversee procurement and commercial reporting in line with business objectives Support project delivery teams with commercial insight and risk management Engage with clients to maintain strong relationships and deliver value-driven outcomes About You Experienced Quantity Surveyor from retrofit, energy efficiency, or property services backgrounds Understanding of PAS 2035 / ECO4 / SHDF standards and related compliance Commercially astute with strong analytical and negotiation skills Knowledge of JCT and NEC contract frameworks Confident communicator with excellent reporting ability Why Join Our client is a fast-growing, family-run business with over 1,200 employees and turnover approaching £250m.
