To be successful in the role, you will need:
* Professional qualification with a membership of a professional body/NVQ Level 4 qualification or minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the field.
* Understanding of the issues and impact of domestic abuse on individuals and families.
* Knowledge of domestic abuse legislation and how it can be used to support individuals and families.
* Ability to engage individuals and families at points of crisis.
* Ability to work across service areas and with partner agencies to ensure safeguarding is in place.
About the role: This is a varied role suitable for someone with sound knowledge of domestic abuse support and legislation. Your skills and experience can make a significant difference to our community. The role involves working across adults and children's services, offering a good work-life balance. Flexibility is required, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of children and young people. A full driving license is also required to travel around Rutland and the wider area.
