Position Summary
Plan, layout, install, test, and perform all process requirements for the installation of instrumentation in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Fabricate and install conduit, tubing, piping, including the installation of instruments and supports.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
1. Move materials and equipment to work locations and set up work sites.
2. Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools.
3. Install support structures, components, and tubing.
4. Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and frameworks using hand and power tools.
5. Pour and finish concrete surfaces according to specifications.
6. Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems, including conduits, cables, wires, transformers, circuit breakers, and switches.
7. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations.
8. Test and start up systems, ensuring electrical compatibility and safety.
9. Observe functioning of installed equipment to identify hazards and adjustments needed.
10. Operate high and low voltage electrical systems.
11. Place insulating or fireproofing materials over conductors and joints.
12. Identify defective electrical components using wiring diagrams and testing instruments.
13. Operate various vehicles and heavy equipment.
14. Load and spread gravel, dirt, and sand; grade roads.
15. Assist skilled craftsmen with installation tasks according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; experience in the field preferred.
* Knowledge and skills relevant to the position.
* Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.
* Proficient in the safe use of electrical and hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools.
Requirements
* Possess all required tools.
* Understand electrical hazards related to transmission and distribution voltage substations.
* Ability to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft).
* Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
* Follow safety and project rules.
* Perform other duties as required.
