Torbay Hospital has an exciting opportunity to recruit a registered nurse with an interest in Ophthalmology to support our new and existing dedicated eye theatres. We are recruiting now to expand our team and are committed to supporting staff in becoming fully trained, competent, and confident in their roles.
We are looking for an individual interested in working with patients who have sight-related problems, regardless of prior experience in this field. Ophthalmology involves the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of eye diseases. This role includes working in cataract clinics, pre-assessment for surgery, diagnostic tests, and caring for surgical patients on our admission and discharge wards.
