Clinical Research Nurse – Make a Real Impact in Advancing Healthcare
Are you passionate about patient care and excited by the opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge clinical research? Join us and play a vital role in studies that shape the future of medicine. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you’ll combine your clinical expertise with meaningful research impact — all within a supportive, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the nursing side of clinical trials from start‑up to close‑out, ensuring everything runs smoothly and adheres to ICH/GCP standards.
* Be the expert at Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), staying up to date with evolving study protocols.
* Engage potential participants through PIV visits, clearly explaining the study and helping them make informed decisions.
* Build lasting relationships with patients, keeping them motivated and supported throughout their journey to maximise retention.
* Own the accuracy of study data, meticulously documenting information in source notes, CRF/eCRF systems and all associated records.
* Create a warm, professional clinic atmosphere where participants feel welcome and staff feel supported.
* Stay on top of data queries, resolving them quickly and confidently.
* Be prepared for emergencies, responding swiftly and effectively when situations arise.
* Take responsibility for emergency equipment, including regular checks of the emergency trolley.
* Carry out lab tasks when required — bringing your clinical skills into the research setting.
* Champion data privacy, always working in line with GDPR and regulatory requirements.
* Stay current with training, SOPs/COPs and industry standards, continuously building your expertise.
Who You Are
* A registered NMC Nurse with an unrestricted licence to practise.
* Someone with at least 2 years’ post‑registration experience — confident in patient care and clinical decision‑making.
* Experienced in clinical research (or eager to build this experience — desirable, not essential!).
* A strong team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Self‑driven, organised, and ready to take ownership of your workload.
* Passionate about delivering high‑quality care while contributing to something bigger.
