We’re working with a fast-growing SME in Yorkshire that’s undergoing a period of significant expansion. They’re looking to appoint a qualified Finance Manager to support the Finance Director and help drive both day-to-day financial operations and long-term strategic initiatives. This is a key role offering a broad remit, senior-level exposure, and the chance to make a real difference in a growing, entrepreneurial business. The Role: As Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of core finance processes and play a pivotal role in supporting business decision-making. You’ll lead on monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team management — while also getting involved in investor reporting and finance transformation projects. Key Responsibilities: * Monthly management accounts with variance analysis * Preparation of budgets, revised forecasts, and cashflow models * Financial covenant reporting to external stakeholders * Oversight of balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns * Statutory accounts preparation and external audit support * Leading a team of 4 direct and 4 indirect reports * Supporting internal stakeholders with financial insight * Enhancing internal controls and improving processes * Preparing board packs and investor materials The Ideal Candidate: * ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified * Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment * Strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness * Experience managing or mentoring finance staff * Confident, collaborative communicator with a hands-on approach This is an outstanding opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role with real breadth, visibility, and the chance to influence both operations and strategy
