Home Size: 4–5 young people aged between 10–16
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Bonus

As we continue to grow and expand our services, we’re excited to open our children’s home in Tring – and we’re looking for an inspirational Registered Manager to help shape its future and leave their footprint in the heart of the home.
About the Role
This is not just a job – it’s an opportunity to build something special. As the Registered Manager, you’ll lead our dedicated team in providing exceptional care for up to 5 young people between 10 and 16 years old. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our home is a warm, safe, and supportive space where children feel valued, respected, and heard.
You’ll be the heartbeat of the home – supporting your team, working closely with external professionals, and making sure the service runs smoothly in line with Ofsted requirements. From guiding your staff team and shaping individual care plans, to keeping the home running at its very best, you’ll be central to creating a positive and therapeutic environment for our young people.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and inspiring a team of passionate residential staff.
* Ensuring the home provides outstanding care that meets Ofsted standards.
* Creating a nurturing environment that puts children and young people at the centre of everything we do.
* Working with external partners, families, and professionals to get the best outcomes for young people.
* Managing the home’s operations – from budgets to rotas – while keeping things child-focused and positive.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (or a willingness to work towards this).
* Experience in a senior role within a children’s home or social care setting.
* A strong understanding of regulations, safeguarding, and what it takes to achieve the very best outcomes for children.
* A passion for making a difference, with the leadership skills to inspire and motivate others.
