Role Overview
This role manages on-site operations for a production facility operating in shifts. The Shift Manager ensures workflow efficiency, team coordination, and adherence to safety and quality standards across designated shifts. The position requires oversight of day-to-day operations in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment where operational continuity is critical to meeting production targets and client delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily shift operations and supervise a team of 15–20 production or logistics staff.
* Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime during shifts.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
* Track shift KPIs such as output volume, quality metrics, and delivery accuracy on a daily basis.
* Report performance data, issues, and corrective actions to senior management at the end of each shift.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience in shift management or production supervision in manufacturing, logistics, or infrastructure.
* Experience using shift reporting systems and KPI dashboards to evaluate team and equipment performance.
* Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent safety regulations and the ability to conduct safety audits during shifts.
* Strong communication skills to lead shift handovers and coordinate with incoming and outgoing teams.
* Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and elevate technical problems to maintenance teams.
