After internal promotions / growth, they are looking to back fill their Buyer position to help support sourcing of materials andponents, manage supplier relations, manage inventory and ensure cost savings via negotiation and contract reviews / renewals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the site's spend on goods and services, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and contractpliance.
2. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and finished goods.
3. Align purchasing activities with the group-level procurement strategy.
4. Consolidate the supplier base to ensure a cost-effective and low-risk approach.
5. Monitor product and service costs, achieving cost reductions through supplier sourcing and contract negotiation.
6. Utilise the MRP system for all procurement activities.
7. pile and analyse the site's monthly spend report.
8. Manage supplier relationships using KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement activities.
9. Conduct inventory and demand forecasting.
10. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and consult on market approaches.
Requirements:
11. Previous experience operating a similar level in Procurement roles (Buyer / Officer etc.)
12. Experience sourcing a variety of raw materials,ponents or finished goods in a manufacturing / engineering environment
13. Confidentmunication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
14. mercially minded, negotiation & influencing skills
15. A strong understanding of MRP systems, as well as the MS Office suite
16. CIPS qualification would be describable
