As the Finance Business Partner for G’s Fresh Salads, you will provide financial decision-making guidance to the businesses to support growth and profitability within a fast-paced commercial environment. Our Finance Business Partner will be collaborating with internal stakeholders, they will support them in interpreting financial results and information to provide insight that drives decision making towards the achievement of the businesses goals. As a Finance Business Partner, you will: Proactively engage, challenge and influence with stakeholders and snr budget holders within the business to generate a thorough understanding of their business unit and the impact on the wider business. Use that knowledge to create optimal financial reporting structure and support the budget holder in producing robust forecasts and budgets in line with their business plans. Provide advice and new initiatives to support cost savings to improve efficiencies within the organisation and growth opportunities. Ensure that effective financial control of the business is exercised to meet Board expectations and requirements. Work with complex datasets and systems to analyse trends and variances and provide clear, accurate and timely information and guidance to business leaders. Work closely with the shared service team to ensure SLAs are achieve and quality of output is maintained. Drive performance by maximising value propositions for both G’s and its customers. Collaborate with colleagues across the wider finance community to share best practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance service. Be involved in Finance projects including being a thought leader for improving reporting, analysis, and data interpretations. Support the creation of informative business cases / capex justifications. Ensure that accounts are drafted in accordance with accounting standards and legislative requirements including satisfactory audit results. Candidate Requirements for our Finance Business Partner: Part or Fully Qualified (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills all levels Experience working in a complex commercial environment including demonstrable experience in managing business risks, professional financial control, and creation of forward planning. Demonstrable record of budget management, governance, and ability to understand and interpret commercial and financial landscapes (budgets, forecasts, actual status).
