Test Technician required for our client Hitachi Rail based in Newton Aycliffe. Hourly Rates £28.91 per hour on days - £34.69 per hour on backshift (Role is INSIDE IR35) Overtime is paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 Sun and Bank Holidays Required to undertake routine Test and Validation on Hitachi fleet trains as per laid down procedures. Working to strict health and safety guidelines and test processes to ensure all work is completed safely and delivery targets are achieved. To record and analyse test results and resolve any potential failures to exceed the customer’s quality expectations. Essential Educated to minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably electrical. Strong Health and Safety ethos. A high-performance culture with a drive for continuous improvement. Ability to follow laid down procedures without deviation. Experience in testing and engineering. Knowledge & understanding of ISO 9000 principles. Attention to detail and the determination on quality standards are essential personal attributes.
