Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Tweenies Day Nursery
Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Tweenies Day Nursery
Tweenies Day Nursery has been a leading nursery school in Evesham since 1986. We aim to make your child's experience of nursery a fun and exciting one in which they can build confidence in themselves and their individual abilities by learning through play.
We pride ourselves on having a very low staff turnover and this reflects in how happy and settled the children are when they are here. They are more comfortable when the same faces are there each day to greet them.
We have a bright two story building which is perfect learning place for your little ones, we have an enclosed outdoor baby garden especially for them, and we have a large garden for the older children.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
1. Learning the role of a nursery practitioner
2. Support the key workers and shadow their daily routines
3. Working with a group of children and babies to 5 years of age
4. Working as part of a team
5. Liaise with parents
6. Input with the daily routine and curriculum
7. Assist with setting up daily activities
8. Assist with all aspects of personal care
9. And responsibilities to safeguarding the children in their care
Requirements;
10. Level 2 Childcare Qualification is required
11. You must be able to gain a clear DBS
12. Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
Hours;
13. The nursery runs all year round and is open from 07.30am – 18:00pm Monday to Friday
14. The successful candidate will be required to work 30-40 hours per week
