Yard Operative – Bristol (Avonmouth) – Early Shifts.
Are you looking for a hands-on role with a reputable company based in Avonmouth? Aligra is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for a Yard Operative to join their busy waste warehouse team.
This position is ideal if you are physically fit, reliable, and keen to play a key role in safe chemical disposal. You’ll work early shifts Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 17:00.

Your key responsibilities:
6. Handle and dispose of chemicals and waste safely and in line with environmental regulations
7. Perform daily manual handling and heavy lifting (physical fitness essential)
8. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard and warehouse
9. Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
10. Assist with stock control and accurate waste disposal records
11. Follow all safety procedures and risk assessments without exception
12. Work collaboratively to meet daily operational targets
What we’re looking for:
13. Experience in waste management, chemical handling or industrial yard work preferred but not essential (full training provided)
14. Physically able to perform heavy lifting tasks safely
15. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with good communication skills
16. Willingness to work early shifts Monday to Thursday
