Temporary KS3/4 Teacher of Humanities - Warrington
We are supporting secondary schools across Warrington in recruiting a temporary humanities teacher for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term cover.
The successful candidate will teach Geography, History, and Religious Education to Key Stage 3 & 4 classes of varying abilities. Experience in these subjects is preferred, and a strong knowledge of safeguarding policies within the education sector is required.
This role may suit newly qualified teachers, qualified teachers, or experienced teachers committed to full-time employment. The role involves adhering to school ethos and participating in the general running of the school, including routine duties.

* Minimum rate of pay – £120
* Hours – 8:15 am – 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree in a relevant subject, preferably in humanities
* Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, QTS, etc.) in Geography, History, or RE
* Previous experience teaching History to young people (referenceable)
* Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (referenceable)
* Up-to-date safeguarding training (issued within the last year; training can be provided)
* Up-to-date Prevent awareness training (issued within the last 3 years; training can be provided)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one
* At least two professional child-related references from the last two years
