Overview
A vacancy has arisen in ward 2 St Andrews Community Hospital for a registered nurse. The ward is a 16 bedded unit. 4 of which are specialist palliative care beds. You are expected to have a passion for care and medicine of the older adult with a focus on rehabilitation, recovery and adaptation.
Responsibilities
* Experience in delivering a high level of person centred care and knowledge of complex discharge planning are required.
* This role involves contributing to the improvement of a health and safety culture to prevent and reduce risks in the delivery of care to our patients.
* Interpersonal skills, I.T and communication skills at different levels are essential for this post.
* The ability to manage complex situations is also required.
