Your new role
Working within a large finance department, you will play a key role in supporting monthly and annual accounting processes. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment and is looking to develop a long‑term career in finance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Collecting, organising and preparing financial information for use by the accounting team
2. Accurate electronic data entry using Microsoft Office applications
3. Managing high volumes of documentation, including scanning, filing and maintaining orderly records
4. Supporting the preparation of information for corporation tax analysis
5. Handling and distributing iing and internal post for the department
6. Providing administrative support for capital expenditure processes
7. Assisting colleagues with a variety of wider finance and administrative tasks
What you'll need to succeed:
8. A professional, well‑presented approach and willingness to work within a finance/accounting team.
9. Ideally, strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
10. Confidentmunication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
11. A collaborative, team‑focused attitude
12. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
