Contract type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 37.5
Salary: circa £33,000, depending on experience
Location: Birmingham city centre
WFH policy: Employees are required to attend the office 2 days/week
Flexible working: Variety of flexible work patterns subject to line manager discretion e.g. Compressed 9-day fortnight.
Reports to: Head of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement

Role Summary:

LCCC’s scope is growing, expanding into new schemes which in turn creates a much more diverse and complex stakeholder landscape.

Our engagement objective is ‘To be recognised and celebrated for the role we play in accelerating the transition to Net Zero at least cost to the consumers'.

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and communications support to the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Team.



Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate responses for our enquiries inbox - internally and externally facing (~1500 last year and this is set to increase with the extension of schemes we’re delivering)
* Assist the team in organising and delivering various events including invitations, delegate management, event logistics
* Maintain the events and communications calendars
* Maintain accuracy and integrity of SRM system including uploading insights, meetings and customer information
* Using a media monitoring tool to undertake daily media monitoring in relation to LCCC and the CfD
* Take primary responsibility for CaSE reporting including dashboards
* Assist with BAU social and digital communications tasks as required.
* Assist in the day-to-day activities of the Communications and Engagement team, such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes.




Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Essential:
* At least 1 year of experience in a Coordinator, Team/Event Coordination, PA or similar role
* A proven track record of providing support and building strong working relationships
* Excellent IT skills including Office 365 in particular Outlook and Powerpoint
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to adapt to be flexible in their approach across various tasks
* Able to work independently as well as collaboratively

Desirable:
* Experience using stakeholder relationship management tools
* Experience using a media monitoring tool
* Experience of social media and digital tools.
