We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and supportive school community in May 2025.

Duties as SEN Teacher:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs and learning styles of pupils with SEN.
* Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.
* Collaborate with the SENCO, support staff and external agencies to implement and review personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
* Track and assess pupil progress using appropriate frameworks, ensuring meaningful next steps.
* Foster strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community.
* Contribute to the review and development of inclusive practices across the school.
* Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding, SEND and assessment policies.
Ideal SEN Teacher:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Have experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, either in mainstream or specialist settings.
* Be confident in using a range of teaching strategies to support diverse and complex needs.
* Demonstrate empathy, patience and excellent communication skills as a SEN Teacher.
* Be passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
* Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Have a thorough understanding of current SEND legislation and good practice.
