Deputy Headteacher (with SENDCo responsibilities)
This vacancy is flexible and we welcome applications from candidates seeking 1.0FTE or 0.8FTE
This role includes a 0.66 or 0.44 respective teaching responsibility

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our school as Deputy Headteacher and help drive the next phase of our journey. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious practitioner who is passionate about securing strong foundations for every child and strengthening Early Years and Key Stage 1 provision.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a central role in shaping our strategic direction, modelling excellent classroom practice and supporting high quality teaching across the school. You will help nurture a culture where, through our NEST vision, every child feels valued, safe and able to thrive.
Alongside the Headteacher, you will jointly lead SEND provision as the named school SENDCo, ensuring that pupils with additional needs receive consistently high quality, inclusive support.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is an excellent teacher with a deep understanding of early learning and foundational skills
• Leads with integrity, high expectations and a commitment to inclusion
• Has the passion and skill to coach, develop and inspire others
• Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Is ready to play a major role in whole school improvement and leadership
