Overall purpose:
To assist in the delivery of facilities management services at a designated Ben site, including maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment, and external gardens and grounds to ensure a safe environment for customers and visitors.
Principal accountabilities:
Planning and Organising
* Undertake remedial repairs, general building maintenance, decoration, and moving of plant, furniture, and equipment as directed by the Facilities Manager, in accordance with SLA requirements.
* Provide technical reports related to maintenance issues when required.
* Carry out electrical, plumbing (excluding gas), and fire-fighting equipment testing and maintenance where competent.
* Assist in Portable Appliance Testing.
* Maintain gardens and grounds to high standards, plan landscaping projects, and undertake gardening activities as scheduled.
* Assist in planning and purchasing gardening supplies following organizational protocols.
* Maintain and service plant and machinery per manufacturer instructions and safety practices.
* Ensure safe storage of equipment, assist with inventories, and report damages or safety concerns.
* Support site security, assist during emergencies, and prepare grounds for events.
* Support driving duties for customer transport and appointments.
* Participate in quality assurance programs.

Experience required:
o Experience in general building, plant, equipment, or grounds maintenance is desirable but not essential.
Technical Knowledge:
o Full clean D1 driving license is essential.
o Qualification in property maintenance, engineering, or relevant trade is desirable but not essential.
