Litigation Associate - Fraudulent Disputes (Boutique Law Firm, London)
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced litigation associate to join a dynamic boutique law firm in London. The firm specializes in complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on representing clients in fraudulent activity cases.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis of complex commercial fraud matters.
* Draft and file court documents, including pleadings, motions, and persuasive briefs.
* Assist with pre-trial discovery, including witness interviews, document production requests, and depositions.
* Prepare for and attend client meetings, hearings, and trials, providing comprehensive support to senior associates and partners.
* Manage assigned caseload effectively, meeting critical deadlines and ensuring case stays on track.
* Maintain strong communication channels with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and legal strategies.
* Stay current on legal trends and developments in commercial litigation and civil fraud law.
Qualifications:
* Qualified solicitor 0-8yrs of experience in commercial litigation, with a demonstrably strong track record in handling fraud cases.
* Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive legal arguments.
* Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical thinking.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
