Whatwe are looking for:
We are looking for a professional andexperienced NAWI (Automation) Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. Asa NAWI Engineer you will provide engineering support to all automatedautomotive (NAWI) warehouse and conveyor systems, ensuring breakdown response,preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities are completedto required safety, quality, and performance standards.
Key responsibilities as a NAWI (Automation) Engineer will be to:
* Diagnosefaults and carry out remedial actions to required engineering standards
* Performplanned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all automated systems
* Proposeand implement equipment improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
* AttendPIT meetings to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) incollaboration with production and logistics teams
* Completeaccurate breakdown and maintenance reports
* Ensurecorrect booking out of spare parts from stores
* Supportinstallation and commissioning of new equipment
* Contributeto special engineering and improvement projects
* Providetechnical support and guidance to warehouse operatives
* Workwith contractors as required
* Complywith hygiene, health & safety, and company policies
Requiredexperience/expertise to succeed as a NAWI (Automation) Engineer will include:
* Recognised electrical apprenticeship to ONC/HNC level or equivalent
* Strong electrical bias with proven experience in control systems (PLCs, contactors, relays, safety circuits)
* Good mechanical knowledge
* Experience in automated environments (essential)
* Experience in food manufacturing environments (advantageous)
