FP&A Manager Responsibilities
* Lead the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for life sciences projects, departments, or business units.
* Oversee the analysis of financial and operational performance, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement within the life sciences sector.
* Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, including investment decisions, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
* Direct the creation of complex financial models to evaluate scenarios, assess risks, and forecast financial outcomes for life sciences initiatives, products, or investments.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to align financial goals with operational objectives in the life sciences industry.
* Coordinate the preparation and delivery of clear and concise financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, investors, and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and industry best practices in financial planning and analysis activities within the life sciences sector.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, data accuracy, and resource optimization in financial planning and analysis functions within life sciences organisations.
FP&A Manager Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare industry.
* Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling techniques.
* Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of an organisation.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
