While initially offered on a fixed-term basis, there is a strong desire to make the role permanent for the right individual.This is an excellent opportunity for a Systems Support Analyst who enjoys problem-solving, working with business applications, and supporting colleagues across a range of operational functions. A traditional IT background is not essential; we're keen to speak with candidates who understand business processes, are comfortable working with data, and can quickly learn new systems. The RoleAs a Systems Support Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting and maintaining critical business applications, ensuring users receive excellent support and systems continue to operate effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line systems and application support, investigating and resolving user issues.Administer business systems, including user access, security, and ongoing maintenance.Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.Work closely with internal teams and third-party providers to implement system enhancements and resolve issues.Support interfaces, integrations, batch processes, and EDI activities.Maintain accurate helpdesk records and process documentation.Assist with the creation of user guides and deliver end-user training where required.Support continuous improvement initiatives across business systems and processes.Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to resolve operational and system-related challenges. About YouWe're looking for someone who:Has experience of core business processes such as purchasing, sales, logistics, finance, or similar.Is comfortable analysing and interpreting data.Has strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.Communicates effectively with colleagues at all levels.Is organised, proactive, and eager to learn new systems and technologies.Can work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team.General IT Support background.
