Engineering Support Specialist II – Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Aerospace products. You will work closely with engineering leadership on managing data collection and processing, documenting product specifications and processes, and creating technical illustrations. You will help coordinate project planning and scheduling, act as a liaison between engineering groups, and provide data reporting for both internal and external customers.
You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Supervisor, based in Yeovil, UK, and you'll work out of our Edinburgh, UK location on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
* Support and share robust configuration management processes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve configuration issues.
* Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on configuration management best practices. Participate in configuration audits to verify compliance with requirements. Ensure changes to product configurations are properly documented, controlled, and communicated.
* Process design data releases and changes. Create and revise EBOMs. Ensure the integrity of EBOM data as it transitions from PLM to SAP. Serve as a focal point for CM tool‑related questions and issues to individuals within the organization. Communicate and influence CMADS objectives and initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science or 2 years relevant experience.
* Some experience in configuration management in the aerospace industry. Some knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices. Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.

* Experience with configuration management tools and software.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements – AS9100.Knowledge of industry standards for aerospace products – EIA649 and DEF‑STAN‑57.
