A thriving FMCG manufacturing company based in the South Herefordshire area are looking for a Supply Planner to join their team. As Supply Planner you will be responsible for driving OTIF from suppliers, executing robust production plans to fulfil customer orders and ensuring inventory is kept at optimum levels. About the role:
Material requirements planning and expedite from an international supply base, in line with system requirements
Lean inventory management
Monitor supplier performance Vs. SLAs
Develop production plans and servicing schedules based on customer demands and operational capabilities
Provide accurate and timely updates regarding potential delays, delivery time lines, and quality issues
Collect and analyse data on production performance and team efficiency
Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, time-lines, supplier payments, etc
Create and maintain material master data and purchase information records ensuring accuracy of data
About the person:
Previous experience working within a supply, demand, materials or production planning role
FMCG background would be desirable
Deep and detailed planning knowledge
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Previous experience using SAP would be advantageous
Previous experience of being a part of a system implementation
