Job Role:
Working for a leading manufacturer of industrial diesel engines, you will be working as a Mobile Diesel Fitter / Service Engineer – home based in South Yorkshire area. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Engines. The salary for this position is £40 - £45,000, plus overtime as required (typically an additional 20% of salary). We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Diesel Engines, with previous experience working on Construction Plant Equipment. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday, plus overtime.
Key Responsibilities:As a Mobile Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Your Job Role Would Include:
* PDI’s, Servicing & Repairing Diesel Engines
* Attend breakdowns on client sites
* Service plant equipment whilst out on site
* Fit Accessories as Required
* Work Well Under Pressure
* Complete Administration Tasks including Service & Repair Records Accurately
* Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when working on Customer Sites
* Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards
Skills:The Ideal Candidate for the Mobile Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Role Will Have:
* Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer
* You Will Need Previous Experience within the Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry
* Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
* Able to Work Without Instruction
* IT Literate
* Own Tool Kit
* Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written
* Clean Current Driving License
