Are you a supportive, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a full‑time TA to join a welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school from September 2026. The successful candidate will be placed in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on where their skills and experience are best suited.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning, development, and wellbeing of pupils. You will help to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in‑class support to pupils and assist with lesson delivery
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
* Support teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation
* Assist with behaviour management and pastoral care
* Help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who:
* Has experience working in a primary school setting
* Is confident supporting learners in KS1 or KS2
* Is patient, nurturing, and motivated
* Has strong communication and teamwork skills
* Is adaptable and able to use their initiative
* Holds a relevant qualification (or has equivalent experience)
